Sinds het verdwijnen van haar vader heeft Elf (11) de zorg voor haar kleine broertje Jonas op zich heeft genomen. Ondertussen trekt hun moeder zich steeds vaker terug boven in het huis. Terwijl de tijd verstrijkt, kruipt Elf in dit korte, licht magisch-realistische drama in haar eigen wereld, waar ze turend over het water, onverminderd blijft verlangen naar haar vader.
Elf (11) lives with her mother and her little brother in a house alongside the water. After the disappearance of her father, Elf takes care of her brother while her mother hides away upstairs. Slowly, Elf wanders away in her mind, where the urge to meet her father grows stronger day by day.
